Women UFC Fights? White Says No (Video Added)

Remaining consistent with his stance on women fighting in the UFC, recently when President Dana White was asked when fans can expect to see women fighting in the world famous Octagon, White answered “never” definitively.

While some Zuffa’s competitors like Strikeforce and Bellator actively promote and market women fighters, White and Zuffa have repeatedly stated they have no interest in making female fighters an active part of the sport’s largest promotion.

The popularity of female fighters has been on the rise in the past few years with fighters such as Gina Carano and Cristianne “Cyborg” Santos gaining mainstream recognition and appearing on large networks such as CBS and Showtime.
